Westbury is a Spring Wonderland.

 

New wheels for our favorite seniors

Westbury Senior Center gets a new bus.  State Senator Michael Balboni cuts the ribbon.

 

Seniors and Village Officials join Senator Balboni at the Dedication Ceremony.  The bus was funded by a grant secured by Senator Balboni for the Center.

Down at the Children's Library - Westbury is a winter wonderland.
Snow creates some great photo opportunities.
Mid-night (windy and cold, too) on Post Avenue - the avenue has just been decorated for the holidays - BUT - new "old" lights are now being installed.  This scene is changing.

Saturday, September 28 was quite busy in the Village. There were crowds at all 3 fairs most of the day. Go to "Something Special" to see more photos.
The Cub Scout Pack 233 WTC Memorial American Flag Quilt is finished and on dislpay at the Source Mall through the holidays - it is very inspirational. Go to "Something Special" to see more photos.
Sol y Sombra Flamenco Dancers performed at the Westbury Memorial Public Library, Friday, July 19, to a full house. See "Upcoming Events" section for additional free summer concerts in the Village.
B.I.D/Village of Westbury Concerts  - Warm evening, music and good company - see "Upcoming Events" section for a complete schedule.
Come and enjoy the concerts at the "Gazebo on the Green" (now held at the Piazza Ernesto Strada at Post and Maple Avenues). Bring a couple of friends to enjoy the concerts with you.
Memorial Day Ceremony in the Village - honoring our neighbors who gave their lives in service to our country.
At the head of the parade were Jim Smith, New Cassel American Legion; Louis Corte, Commander of the VFW and Harvey Schwartz, Westbury American Legion.
The Westbury High School Band marched smartly in the parade.

Village of Westbury Past Mayor Ernest Strada dedicates the new memorial to the Westbury People who were lost in the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center.
Our new neighbors at The Bristal joined in our Memorial Day Parade Celebrations. The table by Post Avenue is refreshments for the marchers - Thanks!!
The Bristal was all decked out for the occasion.
Rebuilding our roadways with the environmentally sound and cost-effective "hot in place" asphalt recycling process.
